Brief Bio
I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a certification in Guided Imagery and Hypnosis from CGI of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I trained as a mental health professional at clinics around Los Angeles County, working with children, couples and individuals. I was also a supervisor on a crisis response team based in Beverly Hills, where I administered psychological first aid to individuals, families, schools, businesses, and government agencies that were affected by a traumatic event or death. I am a trained grief therapist and wrote my doctoral dissertation on effective treatment for people who lost a loved one to a suicide death. I have an eclectic orientation as a psychologist. I focus on mindfulness, cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic modalities and when needed, I will integrate hypnosis and EMDR into my treatment plans. Using an eclectic approach toward healing allows me to meet my clients where they are and tailor a treatment plan to best fit their needs.
