Brief Bio
Perhaps you are seeking therapy for yourself due to issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or self-esteem. Perhaps you are seeking therapy for your child because they don't listen, have social difficulties, are anxious, or angry. Or perhaps you are a couple needing help with communication. I am here to help. I strive to understand your experience and create a safe space for you to explore whatever may come up. I take an active approach by working with you to identify your areas of concern, create a treatment plan and work in a collaborative way to help you make meaningful changes.
My speciality is in evidence-based treatments. I utilize CBT, Exposure with Response Prevention, and mindfulness techniques to treat a variety of issues including anxiety and OCD. When I work with young children (2-7), I tend to utilize a family approach. I am certified in PCIT, a family-based therapy for children with difficult-to-manage behaviors.
Highest Degree Earned
