SBCPA SUMMER SOCIAL
Please join your fellow members for a SBCPA summer member event to support the Psychology Student of Color Equity Award. Our Summer Mixer will focus on fundraising for exceptional scholars in the field of psychology and an informal statement recognizing the Mission as the ancestral land of the Chumash peoples.
Reminder: Please bring your own chairs, picnic blankets, sunscreen, hats and picnic food!

Time: 6 - 8 pm
Location: Santa Barbara Mission Rose Garden (look for the SBCPA signs)
Our hope is to refresh and renew connections with each other as we gather with the intention to raise funds for the Equity Award. We welcome all donations, even $1-5 is incredibly appreciated. Guests are welcome!
We will be supplying beverages and asking for donations to the next round of the Equity Award.

Here is a statement from 2023 Equity Award Recipient Jazzmyn Ward:
It has been a privilege to receive the SBCPA Student Equity Award. The funds helped support my very meaningful dissertation on intergenerational trauma and healing within the African American community. I have also been extremely fortunate to receive incredible mentorship at such a pivotal time for career planning. The Student Equity Award not only provided financial support but also introduced me to incredible mentorship and connections that have helped me both personally and professionally.
